My sister is in a roller derby squad. They are just starting out and are trying to pick a good tune for their squad. They are the ATOMIC ANNIES. They are wanting songs that might have the words Atomic or Annies in it. Any suggestions? The other team is the Rock-a-Betties and their tune is Whoa Black Betty. Okay, if no songs with the names in it, then something that kicks butt.

Voting Question: Will a bad bruise on my breast hurt me?

I fell while playing roller derby on the kick rail of the banked track. I know have a 3 inch diameter bruise on my left breast. Will it hurt me down the line by creating a mass or something else? Is there anything I can do to help the bruise?

Voting Question: Endurance in roller derby

I started training 3 weeks ago and I am no where close as quick as the other skaters. I skated every the time this past year and could go non cease for an hour. Now it seems like at practice I can only sprint for 15 second out of a min that we are up to. Our draft is in 4 weeks and I'm afraid I won't past the 5 laps in below a min and 20 laps in 5 min in the WFTDA test. When I skate my right leg seems to go numb. Why is that? Why can I skate quick for longer at an open skate and not at practice? What can I do to build my endurance up besides skating everyday because I skate 4 times a week now. Any tips to take before practice. I drink some water, eat a little and stretch, anything else I can do?

Resolved Question: I've over cleaned my face with acne medications! Now what?

I have been breaking out badly because I have not been washing my face properly after roller derby practice. Well I bought the Neutrogena oil free acne wash in the pink grapefruit, I used that in the afternoon and night for about 4 days then I bought the Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Complete Acne Therapy System. I stopped using the one and now I'm using the kit. My face turned red, and it has a tight feeling to it and burns a little. I think I should have waited a few days between using the two. The kit says to use 2 times a day but I'm using 1 time. Other than that every the pimples went away! Any suggestions in the meantime? Has this happened to you? How should I use the product for now? Every other day? What should I use that isn't so strong after practice?

i've been with the same guy for 2 years we've lived together for a year and a half, he still has to hide everything from me, i can't look who he talks to on the phone, i can't touch his phone, he locks it, i can't go out with him with his friends, or roller derby which he does 2 to 3 times a week. and then on top of that whenever his parents arrive to town i have to disappear for as long as they are here they still have no idea i live with him, and he never told them when i was pregnant, i was 4 months pregnant and lost it..they still don't know..so i'm not sure if this is every a game or if i should even stay...

What country would win gold, silver and bronze? I think roller derby should be in the olympics. how does one petition the olympic committee for something like that? stupid? equestrian games in the olympics is stupid, and that is in. roller derby is a real sport. roller derby isnt scripted. have you ever been to one? nascar makes as much sense as the horses, but roller derby makes more sense than either. anyway, this is suppose to be a fun question not a serious one. i never said the costumes and stuff wasnt theatrical, but they are just trying to receive an audience. jammers receive through and score points because it is difficult to skate and pay attention to the blockers and the jammers. the fact is, it isnt worth the effort of scripting it.

Resolved Question: how do I heal my broken blister?

I have a massive blister on my heal and I need it healed enough to put my skates (roller derby) on by Saturday!! I got it last Tuesday, it opened on Thursday and it hurts bad. It's not infected because I've been applying neosporin up until 2 days ago then I heard that's not good to do that and I need to leave it open to the air. Since then I've been soaking in epsom solution twice a day and leaving it open to the air. Is there anything else I can do? I have an event on Saturday and need my foot back.

Resolved Question: Do you have any good ideas for new events at the Summer Olympics?

I watched that Bob Costas-IOC president Jacques Rogge (Part III) interview today. With baseball and softball gone for various reasons, Rogge said the following sports are being considered for 2016: golf, rugby, roller sports (I guess they don't mean roller derby), squash, karate and women's boxing. Does anyone have better candidates? The IOC has a couple of criteria that I want to use for this discussion: 1) Played around the world and must be competitive among participating countries. Remember one reason softball was canceled because the USA was too dominant (until a few days ago) 2) Must be fairly cheap to build and manage, and have some use after the Olympics. This was baseball's downfall. Expensive to build a stadium which will not be used after the Olympics by the hosts (unless they adore baseball). 3) Must have a women's events. I know people want American football, but there's no women's American football. The IOC wants more women's events. We can have some creative events. How about bowling? It's played around the world. Paintball? Ballroom dancing? We can have hip-hop dancing like MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Or even cheerleading. Then we have every those X-Games like motocross, road luge and surfing.
